About the Role

ServiceNow is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Agentic AI Harness & Quality team, focusing on building reliable AI agent systems at scale. The role involves agent orchestration, sandboxed code execution, latency optimization, agent memory, and LLM self-reflection, using production-grade infrastructure and top-tier LLMs. Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience with production systems and strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve capable AI agent systems that are reliable at scale
Implement frontier AI algorithms and architectures and productionize them
Use latest advances in ML, LLMs, and AI agents to enhance products
Contribute to roadmap and drive engineering evolution
Write robust, extensible, readable, and performant code
Partner with subject matter experts across ML, security, product, UX, and customer success
Mentor other engineers on building and maintaining great software
Collaborate with machine learning engineers to build world-class AI systems

Requirements

0-2 years experience designing, building, and improving production systems, ideally at scale
Ability to think and communicate clearly about complex engineering problems
Comfort giving and receiving feedback and maintaining high operational standards
