Join ServiceNow's Moveworks team as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to enhance search relevance for an enterprise AI-powered question answering platform. You will design and optimize ranking algorithms, develop evaluation metrics, and leverage natural language understanding to improve answer accuracy across heterogeneous knowledge sources. This role involves close collaboration with product and engineering teams to solve complex challenges in semantic text understanding and data sparsity.
Responsibilities
- Craft and optimize ranking features to enhance search relevance metrics
- Develop algorithm frameworks supporting diversified ranking strategies
- Design platform tooling to enable parallel ranking experiments
- Define and implement metrics to evaluate ranking performance
Requirements
- First-hand experience with traditional information retrieval techniques or ML-based ranking models
- Proven ability to derive insights from query log analysis to improve search quality
- Strong background in text processing, information retrieval, NLU, or machine learning
