Traba is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to build the foundational agentic platform for their industrial supply chain operating system. You will design and ship production-grade agent harnesses, orchestration systems, and evaluation frameworks on top of frontier LLMs. This role requires deep integration with customer operations to automate complex workflows in logistics and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production agent systems using tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, and structured outputs.
- Own the evaluation discipline, creating datasets from real traces and defining rubrics to measure agent performance.
- Architect data services and APIs to integrate agent layers with customer WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
- Embed with customers to understand operational needs and translate them into durable product features.
- Codify repeatable deployment patterns to accelerate customer rollouts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year shipping LLM or agent-based features in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data models (e.g., PostgreSQL).
