Obin AI is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join as an early hire and help build intelligent agents from the ground up. You will design and deploy LLM-powered agentic systems using RAG to automate complex credit workflows, working directly with founders and major credit firm stakeholders. The role involves owning production infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and defining technical architecture for scalable AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy LLM-powered agents and RAG systems for credit workflows
- Partner with customers to co-develop AI solutions tied to ROI
- Architect and maintain backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (GCP)
- Evaluate and optimize systems for accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost
- Define technical architecture and reusable infrastructure for agent deployment
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of software engineering experience
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or RAG systems in production
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) and APIs
- Strong intuition around system architecture, performance, and scaling
