Staffworx is seeking an AI Engineer to lead development on their Agentic Platform in New York City. This full-time role focuses on designing, building, and deploying intelligent agent systems powered by large language models. Responsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous AI agent workflows and orchestration layers
- Integrate LLMs with external APIs, tools, and vector databases
- Optimize agent reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship production-ready AI features
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
- Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-based applications
- Familiarity with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and evaluation metrics
- Willingness to work on-site in NYC four days per week
