About the Role
Salesforce is hiring a Software Engineering SMTS for the LLM Gateway team within the Einstein GPT Platform. You will build and scale critical features for LLM infrastructure, integrating with Agentforce and AI apps. This is a backend role focusing on performance, scalability, and microservice architecture.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale and maintain critical features of the Einstein platform
- Develop high-quality, production-ready code
- Make design decisions on performance, scalability, and future expansion
- Contribute to all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing
- Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment
- Code review, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical guidance
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience
- Strong experience with backend development in Java, C++, or C#
- Experience using AI tools in development workflows
- Distributed systems and cross-service designs
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
- Proficiency in data processing and REST APIs
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in test-driven development
