Mirakl is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and adoption of AI systems within strategic business domains like Marketing or Finance. You will define AI roadmaps, architect production-grade LLM and agent-based solutions, and mentor engineering teams to ensure scalability and technical excellence. This role combines deep AI expertise with product strategy to deliver measurable business impact across enterprise commerce platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define AI vision and roadmap for assigned business domains
- Design and build production-grade AI systems using LLMs and agents
- Drive architecture decisions ensuring scalability and reliability
- Establish best practices for evaluation, testing, and observability
- Mentor engineers and foster AI capability growth within the team
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI
- Strong expertise with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and production deployment
- Ability to influence product and business stakeholders
- Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
