Nokia is seeking an AI Agent Development Co-op to design and implement AI agents for optical test engineering workflows. The role involves building agent skills, integrating with engineering tools via MCP, and ensuring reliability through source traceability and guardrails. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in LLM application development within a hardware testing context.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine AI agents to assist engineers with test plans, case analysis, and documentation search.
- Build and maintain agent skills, prompts, and tool integrations including MCP servers and Python helpers.
- Improve agent reliability by reducing hallucinations and adding source traceability and review gates.
- Partner with optical test engineers to identify automation opportunities and measure tool effectiveness.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience or coursework with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, or RAG.
- Comfort with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
