Machine Learning Engineer - Early Career (UK)

Jobright.ai is seeking a recent graduate or early-career Machine Learning Engineer to build and maintain production-grade AI agents for an AI-powered job search platform. The role focuses on designing scalable infrastructure, optimizing LLM pipelines, and improving RAG systems for real-time agent responsiveness. You will work with backend APIs and ML frameworks to bridge AI models with the user-facing product.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for deploying production-grade AI agents
• Implement and optimize LLM pipelines for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency
• Develop automated systems for model monitoring, testing, and continuous integration
• Optimize data ingestion and processing for real-time agent responsiveness and RAG architectures
• Architect and refine APIs and backend services connecting AI models to user-facing product

• Recent graduate or early-career professional (0–2 years) with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Practical experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and software engineering best practices (version control, CI/CD, unit testing)
• Familiarity with LLM deployment and infrastructure for autonomous agents
