AI/ML Engineer (m/f/d) Autonomous Systems

MOTOR Ai is developing Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities for European roads. They are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, train, and deploy machine learning models for real-time autonomous systems. The role involves optimizing model performance, integrating with production systems, and collaborating across data, perception, and simulation teams. This is an on-site position in Berlin, Germany.

• Design, train, and fine-tune machine learning models for autonomous driving use cases.
• Integrate trained models into production systems ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe operation.
• Run structured experiments and evaluations to validate model performance using established metrics.
• Optimize models for latency, memory, and compute constraints relevant to real-time systems.
• Collaborate with data, perception, and simulation teams to ensure models are built on the right data.

• Degree in computer science, machine learning, data science, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI/ML engineering.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience with reinforcement learning tooling like Stable-Baselines3 or RLlib and experiment tracking such as MLflow or Weights & Biases.
