SumUp is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its AI team in Berlin. The role focuses on building and optimizing state-of-the-art AI models and algorithms, particularly for customer support applications. You will work on LLMs, RAG systems, and ML infrastructure to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and deploy AI solutions in production environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and developers to bring AI solutions to customer support.
- Develop and maintain ML infrastructure and pipelines for data processing, model training, and serving.
- Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collect, preprocess, and clean large text datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Embrace software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and unit testing.
- Ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into software applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer building scalable ML/AI solutions.
