Remote Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer - Applied Machine Learning Team

Redfin's Applied Machine Learning team seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to productionize ML models and build scalable MLOps infrastructure for real estate recommendations and valuation systems. You will bridge research and engineering, optimize models for inference, and monitor them in production. The role is open to fully remote candidates, with hybrid in Seattle preferred.

• Productionize research-grade models into performant, maintainable production systems.
• Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD for machine learning, automated retraining pipelines, and robust model versioning.
• Optimize models for inference to ensure high-speed performance and efficiency in real-time environments.
• Monitor models in production, proactively addressing data drift, concept drift, and system latency.
• Co-create next-generation data-driven insights for automated valuation models and recommender systems.
• Serve as a technical bridge between research and engineering, assisting stakeholders in applying data science methodologies.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years deploying and scaling machine learning models in production.
• Highly proficient in Python and capable of writing production-grade, modular code.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including training vs inference workflows, feature stores, and model versioning.
