Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Supply

Lime seeks a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical direction of ML-powered supply and fleet optimization systems. The role involves defining long-term strategy, executing complex initiatives, and mentoring engineers. This remote position requires residence in Canada.

• Own technical vision and roadmap for ML systems powering forecasting, supply positioning, and fleet optimization.
• Lead end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional ML initiatives.
• Act as primary technical decision-maker, setting architecture and engineering standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers to raise team performance.
• Partner with product and operations leadership to shape strategy and prioritize investments.
• Establish best practices for ML development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration at scale.

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning.
• Track record of leading large, complex ML systems in production.
• Experience as technical lead driving projects across multiple engineers and stakeholders.
• Strong system design skills for scalable ML systems and data pipelines.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical strategies.
