Nuro is seeking a Mid-Level AI Infrastructure Engineer to build and enhance machine learning systems for its autonomous driving mapping platform. Responsibilities
- Design and improve data and machine learning systems for autonomous driving applications
- Build and optimize model training infrastructure for Localization & Mapping (L&M) models
- Collaborate with cross-functional L&M teams to share knowledge and establish long-term partnerships
- Provide data-driven feedback loops to model training teams and drive continuous improvement
- Engineer high-performance systems through architectural design, algorithmic optimization, and performance tuning
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable backend systems for ML model training and evaluation
- Deep understanding of machine learning principles, distributed systems, reliability, and scalability
