Capital One's Associate Experience team is building an agentic orchestration layer — the foundational framework that enables AI agents to be composed, sequenced, and operated as a unified experience for marketing initiatives. As a Full-stack Engineer 4, you will lead architecture and delivery of distributed, cloud-based services on AWS, shaping how Capital One's marketing teams work for years to come. This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role with technical leadership across Agile teams.
Responsibilities
Design and build the agentic orchestration layer that composes and sequences AI agents
Lead diverse technology projects and mentor developers across distributed microservices and full-stack systems
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence
Reduce technical debt through targeted refactoring and system performance improvements
Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools in a 'you build it, you own it' environment
