Apple is seeking an AI Research Scientist to advance generative AI and multimodal foundation models. The role focuses on developing novel methods to improve model alignment, reasoning, and adaptation for integration into Apple products. Responsibilities
- Research and develop methods to improve alignment, reasoning, and adaptation of large language and multimodal models
- Design and implement large-scale training pipelines for foundation models
- Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing Apple products
- Publish research findings and contribute to the broader AI community
Requirements
- Experience with large-scale training pipelines and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow)
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals
- PhD or equivalent research experience in computer science, machine learning, or related field
- Proven ability to translate theoretical research into practical, deployable solutions
