TikTok is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to work on its Global Monetization Product and Technology teams. The intern will contribute to building large-scale advertising systems and lead advanced machine learning projects to enhance TikTok's ad monetization ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Participate in building large-scale advertising systems.
- Lead the development of advanced applied machine learning projects.
- Own critical targeting components or strategies within TikTok's ads monetization ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define product vision.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical major with strong grounding in machine learning.
- Commitment to work full 12 weeks during Summer 2026 with start dates in May or June.
- Proficiency in Go, C/C++, or Python and practical experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with advertising systems, recommendation engines, search technologies, or ranking algorithms.
