The role involves leading technical direction for tool-augmented LLM systems, defining structured prompting standards, and driving quality, observability, and semantic infrastructure across real-time news processing pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver production agentic workflows for continuous content enrichment and real-time user interactions
- Design LLM-powered content enrichments feeding into customer reporting and intelligence briefings
- Lead technical direction for tool-augmented LLM systems, including function-calling and multi-step reasoning
- Define structured prompting standards, output schemas, and reusable patterns for the engineering team
- Establish LLM evaluation frameworks, offline benchmarks, online experimentation, and human-in-the-loop review processes
- Implement guardrails for safety, hallucination reduction, and factual grounding
- Build observability for LLM features including tracing, cost tracking, latency budgets, and drift monitoring
- Evolve embedding and semantic search infrastructure, chunking strategies, hybrid search, and re-ranking
