NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to secure ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions in Austin, TX. The role involves conducting security assessments, implementing runtime controls, and ensuring compliance with frameworks like OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and NIST AI RMF. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks such as prompt injection and data leakage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments for AI/ML/GenAI use cases and platforms
- Evaluate AI systems for risks related to prompt injection, insecure outputs, and model misuse
- Support implementation of AI runtime security controls and policy enforcement mechanisms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate secure development practices into AI workflows
- Support implementation of controls aligned with NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, or Cloud Security
- 2+ years of experience supporting or securing AI/ML/GenAI applications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
