[Remote] Machine Learning Engineer, AI Safety & Security – Supporting NVIDIA – Santa Clara (Hybrid)

NVIDIA is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to focus on AI Safety for LLMs, in partnership with Sustainable Talent. The role involves developing datasets and moderator models for content safety and ML fairness, and implementing cutting-edge techniques for bias detection and mitigation. Candidates should have 2+ years of ML engineering experience, strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.

• Develop datasets and moderator models for evaluating LLM models on content safety and ML fairness
• Research and implement cutting-edge techniques for bias detection and mitigation in LLMs
• Develop datasets for training LLMs with SFT and RL techniques for content safety and security
• Define and track key metrics for responsible LLM behavior and usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into ML solutions

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Deep Learning Scientist
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using NumPy and pandas
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
