[Remote] Machine Learning Engineer, AI Safety & Security – Supporting NVIDIA – Santa Clara (Hybrid)

Partnering with NVIDIA, Sustainable Talent is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer focused on AI Safety for LLMs. The role involves developing datasets and moderator models for content safety and ML fairness, as well as researching bias detection and mitigation techniques. This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA.

• Develop datasets and moderator models for evaluating LLM and multimodal-to-text systems for Content Safety and ML Fairness
• Develop datasets for training LLMs with SFT and RL techniques for Content Safety, ML Fairness, and Security
• Research and implement techniques for bias detection and mitigation in LLMs
• Define and track key metrics for responsible LLM behavior and usage
• Conduct data pre-processing and exploratory data analysis on large datasets
• Collaborate with product engineers, data scientists, and analysts to build ML solutions

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Deep Learning Scientist
• Strong programming in Python and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Proficiency in NumPy and pandas for data manipulation and analysis
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms, statistical models, and data structures
