NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Math Libraries Engineer to integrate CUDA-X math library APIs into modern LLM and agentic AI workflows. The role focuses on designing LLM-first documentation and tooling to enable both human developers and AI agents to build high-performance applications efficiently. Candidates will drive the architecture of introspectable APIs and prototype solutions for code generation tools.
Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and implementation of math library APIs designed to be LLM-first (introspectable, explainable).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver LLM-enhanced library releases.
- Build metrics and tools to measure the impact and quality of LLM/agentic code generation.
- Prototype tooling to transform math library APIs into LLM-friendly representations for codegen tools.
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in Computational Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Robust knowledge of LLMs, finetuning, RL, RAGs, MCP, and agent tooling.
- Proven experience designing clear, composable APIs and writing high-quality documentation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
