We are seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate the platform layer powering large-scale AI training and inference workloads. This fully remote role focuses on GPU cluster management, distributed training frameworks, scheduling, and high-performance storage, emphasizing reliability, efficiency, and cost control. The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering discipline and hands-on experience operating production AI infrastructure at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate GPU/accelerator infrastructure for training and inference across cloud and on-prem environments
- Build scheduling, queueing, and resource-sharing systems to maximize accelerator utilization
- Integrate PyTorch, JAX, DeepSpeed, and Ray into unified platform offerings
- Operate high-performance storage systems and data pipelines for near-line-rate training data delivery
- Implement observability, checkpointing, fault-tolerance, and cost optimization strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or HPC engineering
- Hands-on experience operating GPU clusters or large-scale ML training infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one systems language (Go or C++)
