Nabla is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to build agentic pipelines and LLM-based features for clinical documentation. You will integrate provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and design evaluation frameworks to improve output quality in a high-scale healthcare environment. This role combines strong backend engineering with practical application of generative AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build agentic pipelines using chains of LLM-based agents for complex clinical tasks
- Integrate LLM provider APIs into production-grade features
- Design prompts and build evaluation frameworks to measure and improve model output quality
- Write clean, production-ready code in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Go
- Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience writing production code with solid software design skills
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, C++, or Go
- Experience building features using LLM provider APIs, including prompting and evaluation
- Ability to translate fuzzy product requirements into working, testable pipelines
- Strong understanding of system architecture and testing
