GEICO is hiring a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to build its enterprise AI Agent Platform, spanning agent harnesses, RAG platforms, insight engines, and evaluation harnesses. The role involves hands-on work with GenAI applications, agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, and frontier models. This is a senior staff-level position based in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the enterprise AI Agent Platform, including agent harnesses and orchestration layers
- Develop and maintain RAG platforms and insight engines
- Build evaluation harnesses to assess agent and model performance
- Integrate frontier models and agentic frameworks like LangGraph into production systems
Requirements
- Proven experience building GenAI applications in production
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph
- Strong software engineering background at a senior/staff level
- Experience working with frontier models
Nice to Have
- Experience building insight engines or eval harnesses
- Background in machine learning engineering for enterprise platforms
