Flinks is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own machine learning models end-to-end, from problem framing and training to production deployment and monitoring. This engineering-heavy role focuses on building live ML systems for financial data enrichment, risk assessment, and transaction categorization within a fintech environment. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills and experience shipping models to monitored endpoints using modern cloud-native stacks.
Responsibilities
- Own ML models end-to-end including design, training, deployment, and quality monitoring
- Build and package training pipelines for shared data infrastructure
- Monitor model drift, performance, and execute retraining strategies
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Backend, Product, and QA teams on model integration
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate experimentation and implementation
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience building and shipping machine learning models
- Demonstrated ability to take models from training pipeline to live, monitored service
- Production-grade proficiency in Python (non-negotiable)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
