Data Scientist / ML Engineer (Antarctica Capital)

Seeking a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable ML systems, focusing on a neural network for bond risk prediction. Collaborate with architect, refactor models, and lead improvements. Contribute to firm-wide ML architecture and MLOps practices.

• Refactor neural network for bond risk prediction
• Collaborate with architect to identify improvements
• Design, develop, and deploy ML models into production
• Build and maintain data pipelines, feature stores, and model-serving infrastructure
• Implement automated training, testing, and deployment workflows (MLOps)
• Monitor models in production and address drift, performance, or data quality issues
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices

• 4+ years building ML models with Python and AWS
• Hands-on with PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Experience with MLflow
• Proficiency in AWS Fargate
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering

• Experience with AWS Step Functions or Apache Airflow
• Exposure to data warehousing (Iceberg, Athena) and Parquet
