This role focuses on developing and deploying vision-based perception algorithms for autonomous inspection robots. You will work on deep learning models for multi-modal data, object detection, LiDAR segmentation, and anomaly detection, while optimizing models for NVIDIA Jetson edge devices. The position also includes integrating perception pipelines with ROS, supporting AWS-based MLOps, and contributing to state-of-the-art 3D representation research.

• Develop and deploy vision-based perception algorithms for autonomous inspection robots using deep learning and machine vision techniques.
• Design and implement learning methods for multi-modal data including RGB, LiDAR, and thermal.
• Build and optimize models for object detection and tracking, anomaly detection, LiDAR semantic segmentation, and 3D point cloud understanding.
• Optimize models for on-device inference via quantization, pruning, and distillation on NVIDIA Jetson hardware.
• Integrate perception pipelines into robotic systems using ROS1/ROS2 and collaborate with software and robotics teams.
• Support MLOps workflows and CI/CD for reproducible training, evaluation, and model lifecycle management.
• Maintain cloud-based AI pipelines on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3) for scalable training and inference.
• Contribute to research on multi-modal and 3D representations such as Gaussian Splatting and NeRF.
