AGCO is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to develop and optimize computer vision software for agricultural equipment. The role involves algorithm research, edge-deployed AI implementation on embedded systems, and real-world field testing. You will work with classical CV techniques and machine learning models to enhance farm productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for on-equipment and in-field products
- Implement machine learning-based detection and classification for edge embedded electronics
- Configure BSPs, customize kernels, and maintain Yocto images for NVIDIA Jetson platforms
- Test, verify, and experience products in real-world field conditions with customers
- Collaborate with product development teams on optics optimization and data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in C++ and Python (OpenCV, Numpy, Matplotlib)
- Experience cross-compiling and optimizing C++/Python code on embedded Linux devices
- Familiarity with ML packages such as Sklearn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
