Citylogix is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to research, develop, and deploy transformer-based segmentation models for infrastructure defect detection. Reporting to the CTO, you will own the model lifecycle from research through production, focusing on domain generalization across heterogeneous camera systems. The role involves consolidating multi-task models and optimizing inference performance on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and train deep-learning models for semantic, instance, and panoptic segmentation.
- Fine-tune transformer-based architectures like Mask2Former, OneFormer, and DETR.
- Improve domain generalization for reliable performance across different imaging conditions.
- Consolidate task-specific checkpoints into unified multi-task models.
- Partner with DevOps to deploy and monitor models on AWS/SageMaker.
- Build reproducible training pipelines and evaluation benchmarks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied ML/CV experience or MSc/PhD plus 3+ years experience.
- Strong proficiency in PyTorch and Python engineering practices.
- Demonstrated experience with deep-learning segmentation on real-world data.
- Practical experience with transformer-based vision architectures.
