Senior Physical AI Computer Vision Engineer - Autonomy and Vision Systems

AMD is seeking a Senior Physical AI Computer Vision Engineer to develop intelligent edge software for robotics, industrial automation, and autonomous systems. The role focuses on embedded Linux/RTOS platforms, real-time perception, computer vision, and AI inference across heterogeneous computing architectures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable Physical AI solutions.

• Design and develop embedded software for AI-enabled edge computing platforms.
• Implement real-time software for perception, sensor processing, control, and autonomous decision-making.
• Integrate computer vision, image processing, and AI inference applications for real-world deployment.
• Optimize high-performance image, video, and sensor processing pipelines across CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and AI accelerators.
• Collaborate with AI, FPGA, hardware, systems, and platform teams to deliver integrated Physical AI solutions.

• Experience in embedded software development for Linux and RTOS platforms.
• Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and AI inference.
• Familiarity with heterogeneous computing architectures (CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, AI accelerators).
• Ability to analyze and optimize latency, throughput, memory utilization, and power efficiency.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
