AMD is seeking a Senior Physical AI Software Engineer to develop intelligent software for edge systems that perceive and interact with the physical world. The role involves designing low-latency, real-time software for robotics, autonomous systems, and machine vision using AMD's heterogeneous computing architectures (CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs). You will bridge embedded systems, AI inference, and computer vision to deliver scalable solutions for industrial automation and automotive applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain embedded software for AI-enabled edge computing platforms on Linux and RTOS.
- Develop real-time software for perception, sensor processing, control, and autonomous decision-making.
- Integrate computer vision, image processing, and AI inference applications for real-world deployment.
- Optimize software performance across CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and AI accelerators.
- Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and systems teams to deliver integrated Physical AI solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with AMD Vitis AI or equivalent AI deployment frameworks.
- Proficiency in embedded Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Strong background in computer vision, sensor fusion, and AI inference optimization.
