About the Role
Amazon's Alexa Connections team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build next-generation AI-powered communication features. You'll work with Generative, Agentic, and Real-time AI technologies to create scalable cloud services and device software. The role involves influencing system architecture, building agentic APIs, and driving LLM best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop next-generation AI-powered communication features for Alexa
- Build agentic APIs for low-latency, scalable cloud services and device software
- Lead software design, development standards, and code reviews
- Optimize software libraries for latency, CPU, and memory footprint
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to team processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of system design or architecture experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
Nice to Have
- Full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
