This role involves designing and building production-ready backend services that integrate Generative AI and LLM capabilities into a digital insurance platform. The engineer will collaborate with product teams to scale AI features, monitor system performance, and ensure high-quality model evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services supporting AI workflows using Python, Java, or Kotlin
- Develop and deploy AI features from development through production
- Monitor AI systems and troubleshoot issues across models and data pipelines
- Build systems to evaluate and measure AI/LLM performance and quality
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Experience integrating ML or LLM models into production environments
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience building high-performance systems
- Knowledge of generative AI applications and AI evaluation frameworks
Nice to Have
- Experience working in SaaS environments or the insurance industry
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
