Traffic Label seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and build production AI systems using LLMs, retrieval, and agentic patterns. This role focuses on automating business workflows, enriching data pipelines, and implementing human-on-the-loop oversight. You will work across affiliate marketing, data, and content platforms in a new AI function.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated workflows (deterministic and probabilistic)
- Implement agent orchestration patterns (planning, tool use, evaluation loops)
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services for AI-driven functionality
- Develop retrieval and grounding systems for knowledge search
- Work with structured/unstructured data
- Design evaluation frameworks for AI system quality
- Manage cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain services in production
Requirements
- Senior-level engineering experience (4+ years) in backend/software engineering (Python preferred)
- Practical production experience with AI-powered applications
- Experience with LLM APIs, context engineering, and AI integration patterns
- Understanding of agentic patterns (orchestration, tool-calling, state management)
