Torc Robotics is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join the ML Ops Framework team, enabling ML developers to build autonomous vehicle solutions at scale. The role involves building and maintaining ML frameworks, designing organization-wide systems for ML Ops, and driving collaboration across the AI division. The position is remote worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and improve ML frameworks including cloud tooling (Terraform, AWS Managed Services, EKS), data ops (Parquet processing, vector databases), and ML development pipeline (Python, Ray, PyTorch, Lightning, Gymnasium). Design organization-wide systems and platforms for ML Ops. Be a key driver of technical requirements and adoption of the AV 3.0 Dev Kit. Drive collaboration of the Data Loop & Simulation organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of professional experience, or Master's with 3+ years. Experience with large-scale distributed training, specifically working with Ray. Well versed in open-source software. Built ML solutions that have reached production. Comfortable with data science and ML iteration/lifecycle. Ability to balance multiple stakeholders.
