About the Role
The Goal Family of Companies is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Data Science team. This hybrid role involves designing, building, and scaling AI-driven systems to improve operational efficiency and automate workflows. The engineer will collaborate with various business teams to bring AI solutions from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable AI/ML and LLM-powered applications that drive measurable business impact
- Build and maintain data pipelines, vector databases, and AI infrastructure for production systems
- Develop backend APIs and integrations using Python and SQL to embed AI capabilities into business processes
- Manage the AI lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, optimization, and retraining
- Implement evaluation frameworks and AI safety guardrails to ensure reliable and responsible AI usage
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML or LLM applications in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience managing data pipelines and MLOps tooling
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP along with Docker and Kubernetes
