Sun Life is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions on AWS. The role focuses on building production-ready applications using Amazon Bedrock, RAG pipelines, and intelligent agents, while ensuring security, scalability, and governance. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value through AI-powered workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML/GenAI solutions using AWS services and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Build production applications with foundation models via Amazon Bedrock, including prompt engineering and RAG.
- Engineer agentic solutions with controlled tool access, orchestration, and memory management.
- Implement secure RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, embeddings, and vector search.
- Build scalable serverless and containerized services using Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS.
Requirements
- 5+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years on AWS.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production.
- Strong Python development skills and RESTful API integration.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, RAG, and vector databases.
