Acadian Asset Management is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI platforms in Boston. This role focuses on modernizing AI adoption by building production-grade systems including agentic workflows, RAG, and LLM integrations within a regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate will drive architectural consistency and mentor teams while embedding governance and security controls into AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end AI architecture spanning agentic systems, RAG, and LLM training/inference optimization.
- Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI systems aligned with enterprise standards.
- Embed governance, security, and risk controls into AI systems in collaboration with Risk and Compliance.
- Establish model evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management approaches for regulated environments.
- Drive adoption of AI solutions across investment, research, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Physics, or related field; 5+ years of senior software/AI engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of modern AI architectures including agentic systems, RAG, MCP, and LLMs.
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-grade AI/ML systems beyond prototypes.
