Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join SAP's team in Vancouver. You will work on developing ML-based cloud solutions, building agents using LLMs and RAG patterns, and collaborating with data scientists and engineers. You'll handle data pipelines, ensure performance, and deliver AI features to millions of users.

• Explore and manage data storage systems and ML environments
• Develop new agents leveraging LLMs, APIs, and datasets (including RAG patterns)
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions with customer impact
• Ensure performance, reliability, and ongoing improvement of data pipelines
• Continuously improve data platform efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence

• Strong AI/ML skills using Python
• 3+ years of AWS experience (S3, DynamoDB, Redshift)
• 3+ years of shipping software in a professional team using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts
• Analytical mindset and drive to produce excellent solutions
• Understanding of privacy concerns surrounding Data and AI development
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, schema evolution, and metadata management
• Exposure to feature stores or ML data platforms
