ML Engineer (Forecasting) | NDA

Okta seeks an ML Engineer for a 12-week project focused on time-series forecasting for a healthcare client. The role involves designing, training, and deploying ML models using Python and cloud platforms to optimize clinic scheduling and resource allocation. This is a part-time, remote position with possible extension.

• Design, train, and deploy ML models for time-series forecasting and related data tasks
• Build and maintain data pipelines using cloud-native tools (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Develop and optimize forecasting models (Prophet, ARIMA, LSTM, TimeGPT)
• Collaborate with data, product, and cloud engineers
• Participate in project lifecycle from discovery to production deployment

• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning / Data Science
• Proven experience with forecasting/time-series modeling (Prophet, ARIMA, LSTM, TimeGPT, XGBoost)
• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Experience with model deployment and production ML systems
• Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering for time-series data
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Version control (Git) and SQL
• Advanced English
