Machine Learning Engineer

Sanctuary AI is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build robust systems for training and deploying ML policies on general-purpose robots. The role involves collaborating with researchers to implement novel ML techniques and connecting state-of-the-art methods to real-world performance. You will work on challenges in robotic perception, manipulation, planning, and reasoning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply ML techniques to complex problems. Design, develop, and deploy ML models into production. Optimize and fine-tune algorithms for performance. Conduct testing and validation. Stay updated on ML advancements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship.

• Master's or PhD in CS, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of ML experience specializing in reinforcement/imitation learning, computer vision, or NLP. 4+ years of software engineering experience. Hands-on production deployment. Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn. Experience with ROS2 and parallel computing (CUDA, OpenMP). Strong Python and C++ skills. Knowledge of ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised, deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing (Spark). Publications are welcome but not expected. Familiarity with robotics principles and technologies.
