Staff AI Product Engineer (Prague/Brno/Remote EU)

Productboard is hiring a Staff AI Product Engineer to lead the architectural work making our codebase AI-native. You'll define agent-native architecture standards, build a context infrastructure layer, implement self-healing workflows, and develop agent workflows beyond chat. This role is hybrid in Prague/Brno or remote within the EU.

• Lead architectural work to make codebase AI-native; define agent-native architecture standards; build context infrastructure layer; implement self-healing workflows for incidents; develop agent workflows beyond chat; systematically optimize AI code review; ship code and set technical direction.

• 6-10+ years production software engineering experience; strong backend skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java; hands-on LLM experience (prompt design, context management, evaluation); comfort with distributed systems and event-driven architectures; daily use of AI coding tools as core part of workflow.

• Former founding engineer or founder; built agentic systems in production; deep work with multi-step LLM workflows (tool use, memory, orchestration).
