Anaplan is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to architect and deploy scalable Generative AI solutions and autonomous AI agents within its enterprise planning platform. This full-stack role combines deep expertise in modern frontend and backend development with hands-on experience building production-ready GenAI features, including LLM integration, evaluation harnesses, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services. The ideal candidate will lead system architecture, ensure robust LLM observability, and mentor engineering teams while bridging complex agentic workflows with responsive user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable Generative AI solutions and autonomous AI agents into production environments
- Design and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to securely expose enterprise tools to agentic workflows
- Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, or Node.js
- Implement LLM observability, evaluations, caching, and latency optimizations
- Mentor senior and junior engineers and conduct code and system design reviews
Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience at a senior or principal level
- Deep hands-on experience designing, deploying, and scaling agentic AI workflows and GenAI features in production
