PDR.cloud is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the ML lifecycle in a greenfield SaaS environment for the automotive repair industry. This role involves building data pipelines, developing predictive models, and establishing MLOps practices from the ground up. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven product decisions through rapid prototyping and hands-on engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle including exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model development
- Design and implement data pipelines and schema structures for heterogeneous customer data
- Deploy models to production and establish MLOps foundations alongside Ops teams
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to iterate on hypotheses and deliver MVPs
- Calibrate models for growing, diverse client bases and improve model quality continuously
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as an ML Engineer, Data Engineer, or Applied Data Scientist with strong engineering focus
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Solid statistical foundation beyond default sklearn usage, understanding of probabilistic models
