Modjo is seeking a Mid-level AI Engineer to build and scale its B2B sales AI platform in Paris. The role focuses on designing robust agentic systems, orchestrating LLMs, and improving ML infrastructure for production reliability and low latency. You will collaborate with software engineers and product managers to deliver scalable, observable AI features.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize the agentic stack for conversational and autonomous agents.
- Architect end-to-end LLM features including orchestration, routing, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Develop and improve ML infrastructure focusing on observability, load balancing, and scaling patterns.
- Build robust datasets and evaluation pipelines for deterministic (ASR) and non-deterministic (LLMs/agents) systems.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to create scalable, automated ML infrastructure.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in ML Engineering or Data Science.
- Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with low-level languages like Java or C is a plus.
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, model types, and data science best practices.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt design, and cost/performance trade-offs.
