About the Role

KUKA Canada is seeking a Robotics & AI Software Engineer to develop option packages for iiQKA.OS2, implement software in C++, C#, and Python, and integrate robotics process technology. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS, experience with ROS, and a passion for robotics and AI.

Responsibilities

Develop option packages for iiQKA.OS2
Create software architecture proposals and key concepts
Implement software in C++, KRL, C# and Python
Own and drive releases of option packages for iiQKA.OS2
Integration of robotics process technology packages to real-life test setups
Understand and realize physical AI initiatives in ROS Application

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Master's is an advantage)
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
Passion for robotics, industrial automation, and Artificial Intelligence
Holistic mindset and system-level approach to software development
Hands-on programming experience in C++ and C#
Experience applying AI concepts, methods, and technologies in robotics-related projects
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) is required
