Lead the design and development of an enterprise-grade Agent SDK and agentic platform capabilities at JPMorgan Chase. This hands-on director role involves architecting scalable agent systems, implementing evaluation frameworks, and driving technical standards for production-ready AI solutions. You will collaborate across product and engineering teams to deploy reliable, reusable building blocks for agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement core Agent SDK capabilities and reference implementations
- Build specialized agents and reusable components with focus on reliability and observability
- Design evaluation approaches for agent behavior including quality, robustness, and cost
- Optimize model-serving and workflow patterns for agentic systems (RAG, tool-using)
- Drive technical decisions and set engineering standards for scalable AI platforms
Requirements
- 10+ years of applied experience in AI/ML concepts and large-scale ML systems
- Strong software engineering skills with end-to-end delivery ownership
- Extensive experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience with agentic/generative AI system design (tool use, planning, RAG)
