Full Stack AI Engineer

Full-stack AI engineer role at ANNA, a startup transforming autism care. Build AI agents and clinician-facing products using React, Django, FastAPI, and Postgres with pgvector. Remote position based in Warsaw with overlap with US East Coast team.

• Build and maintain production-grade AI agents for clinical and operational workflows.
• Design and implement tool use, state management, and failure handling for multi-agent workflows.
• Contribute to ANNA's MCP server suite for composable integration.
• Implement and optimize RAG pipelines using pgvector.
• Build and iterate on clinician-facing product surfaces in React.
• Own features end-to-end: backend API design in Django/FastAPI to front-end experience.
• Contribute to clinical data ontology and write HIPAA-compliant code.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack capability (React, Django, FastAPI or similar Python frameworks).
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows with LLM tool use and production reliability.
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.) and embedding-based retrieval.
• Professional proficiency in English.
