Generative AI Engineer

Hirevector is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to own the hands-on technical delivery of production GenAI systems, from architecture through deployment and operations. This role covers the full stack of modern GenAI engineering, including LLM application design, agentic and RAG workflows, structured output patterns, and evaluation pipelines. The ideal candidate will define engineering standards, make architectural decisions, and serve as the primary authority on GenAI best practices.

• Design and build production-grade generative AI systems including agentic workflows, multi-step RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered applications
• Define and implement reusable engineering patterns for prompt management, workflow versioning, and structured outputs
• Own operational outcomes for production AI systems: reliability, latency, throughput, cost efficiency, and scalability
• Build and maintain automated evaluation pipelines for LLM outputs, including prompt regression testing and retrieval quality validation
• Secure AI systems against prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized access
• Provide hands-on code review and technical guidance to the team

• Demonstrated experience shipping production-grade LLM or generative AI systems with understanding of prompt design, model selection, tool use, and agent orchestration
• Experience building automated evaluation pipelines for LLM outputs and implementing human-in-the-loop controls
